Family centred village primary school with nursery class, catering for ages 3 to 11 Ofsted grading of 'good' Forest School with emphasis on outdoor learning for all ages throughout the year

Gresham Village Primary & Nursery (37)

At Gresham Village School and Nursery, central to our school ethos, every child is treated as a unique individual from the youngest age.

We were delighted by our Ofsted inspection in June 2016, from which we received a very positive report and confirmation of our grading of 'good'.

With only 160 pupils in all years, we pride ourselves in knowing every child and their families exceptionally well and have tailored our curriculum to reflect the needs of children in a small school in a rural part of North Norfolk. We provide many opportunities for children to learn outdoors, from nursery age right through to year 6 and have developed our grounds over many years to support our outdoor learning programme. This includes Forest Schools and have a small wood in which to make this aspect of the children's education happen.

Whether three years old or eleven, we provide a curriculum that enables our children to flourish, developing a curiosity for the world and learning. We help our children to grow in confidence and consideration, encouraging them to make confident and thoughtful decisions. Above all, we see these first years of school as the essential first steps in preparing our young people for their own journey through life.
